Chau Kaizen in the media

Chau Kaizen and head coach Suasday Chau have been covered by South Australian and international media. This page collects that coverage in one place.

The Advertiser, 2026

Chau Kaizen was featured in The Advertiser’s guide to the best workshops, classes and hobbies across South Australia, published 31 May 2026. The feature covers our move from a casual martial arts club to a full time academy, our fitness kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and mixed martial arts programs, and the structured kids classes that sit alongside them.

I’m there to teach them how to be disciplined.

Suasday Chau, The Advertiser, 31 May 2026

Read the feature: “The SA workshops you have to try: Adelaide’s ultimate guide to mastering a new skill”, The Advertiser. A subscription may be required.

Phnom Penh Post, 2014

Ahead of Suasday’s professional debut for ONE Championship, the Phnom Penh Post ran a feature titled “Suasday Chau set to face ‘The Game’ of his life” in its Post Weekend section on 23 August 2014.

VICE Fightland and the Cambodian sports press

Suasday’s return to his family’s ancestral home to compete was also covered by VICE Fightland and the Cambodian sports press in the lead up to ONE Championship: Rise of the Kingdom at the Koh Pich Theatre, Phnom Penh, in September 2014.

About Chau Kaizen

Chau Kaizen is a martial arts and fitness academy in Prospect, about ten minutes from the Adelaide CBD. What started as a casual club in 2003 became a full time academy in 2008, and we have been based in Prospect since 2016. We teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, mixed martial arts, fitness kickboxing and kids classes for ages 6 to 13. Classes run Monday to Thursday, with Friday Open Gym & Competition Training for members.

Head coach Suasday Chau is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt in the Grandmaster Carlson Gracie Senior lineage, a former ONE Championship professional, and has taught martial arts in Adelaide for over 27 years. Our facility is trusted by the Australian Army to deliver Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. Read Suasday’s full story.
