Chau Kaizen runs classes Monday to Thursday at the rear building, 80 Churchill Road, Prospect SA 5082. Kids classes are for ages 6 to 13 and adult classes are for ages 14 and over. Online booking is required before your first class.

Do I need to book before my first class?
Yes, please. Book online at least 12 hours before your first class so we know to expect you or your child and can have a coach ready. Your first class is on us.
What time are kids classes?
Kids classes run Monday to Thursday. Ages 6 to 8 train from 4:30pm to 5:00pm, and ages 9 to 13 train from 5:00pm to 5:45pm. Monday and Wednesday are Kids MMA; Tuesday and Thursday are Kids BJJ No Gi. There are no kids classes on Friday.
What age can my child start?
Kids classes start at age 6 and run to age 13, split into a 6 to 8 group and a 9 to 13 group. From age 14 you train in the adult classes.
Are classes cancelled in hot weather?
Yes. Kids classes are cancelled when the forecast reaches 35 degrees, and adult classes are cancelled at 38 degrees. We are also closed on public holidays.
Do you run classes on weekends?
No. Classes run Monday to Thursday and we are closed on weekends. Friday is Open Gym & Competition Training from 5:45pm to 6:45pm for members only.
Do you have early morning classes?
Yes. Fitness Kickboxing runs from 6:00am to 6:45am on Tuesday and Thursday. There are also mid-morning classes at 9:30am on Monday and Wednesday, and 11:00am BJJ on Tuesday and Thursday.
What do I need to bring to my first class?
- Fitness Kickboxing
- Boxing gloves and wraps. We have loan gloves if you do not have your own.
- BJJ Gi
- For your trial class, wear your own Gi or borrow one of ours. Once you join, a Chau Kaizen club Gi is required. A mouth guard and rash guard are recommended.
- BJJ No Gi and MMA grappling
- Shorts or pants with no pockets, plus a rash guard or fitted shirt.
- MMA Striking
- Boxing gloves and shin guards, shorts or pants with no pockets, and a rash guard.
- Every class
- A drink bottle, a towel, short nails, and thongs or slides for walking off the mats.
Comfortable training clothes are fine for your first class. You only need your own gear once you are training regularly.
Where do I find you?
We are in the rear building at 80 Churchill Road, Prospect SA 5082, so walk down the driveway to the building at the back. There is limited parking on site and free on-street parking on Churchill Road and the surrounding streets.
